BestStart West Village is a brand-new, purpose-built centre in the heart of Rolleston. We’re looking for a passionate Teacher in Training to be part of our start-up team, helping to shape our philosophy and culture from day one.

Purpose-built Indoor Spaces - Each room is designed with intention – equipped with quality resources to encourage curiosity and meaningful learning across all age groups: Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers.
Expansive Outdoor Playgrounds - Children will enjoy large, open play spaces where they can explore, challenge themselves, and grow their confidence through active, nature-rich play.
About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated individual who is currently enrolled in a Level 7 ECE qualification (Bachelor or Graduate Diploma). This permanent, full-time position is ideal for someone who is ready to grow their career and contribute to a centre that values innovation, collaboration, and high-quality care.

We’re Looking For:
- Enrolment in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor or Grad Dip programme
- A good understanding of child-led, emergent curriculum
- Knowledge of current ECE regulations and Te Whāriki
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday practice
- Passion, energy, and a drive to provide the very best for tamariki
