Teacher-in-Training (BestStart Riccarton)
BestStart Riccarton is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher in Training to join our supportive and collaborative team. Located in the heart of Riccarton, our centre features four well-resourced learning environments, each with its own outdoor space. Our natural outdoor areas, complete with established trees for climbing, exploring, and relaxing, provide children with rich opportunities for learning and play.

- Is studying towards an Early Childhood Education qualification

About the Role
This is a permanent 30-hour-per-week position, Monday to Friday, with flexibility available for the right candidate. You'll be supported by an experienced team committed to helping you build confidence and grow your teaching practice.

Role Requirements
- Enrolment in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor qualification
- Understanding of child-led learning and Te Whāriki
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
- Passion for quality teaching and learning
- Knowledge of current ECE regulations and compliance requirements
