Mo te tunga I About the Role:
BestStart Rangiora is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher in Training to join our energetic Preschool Room. Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community. Our ideal applicant will be a genuine team player - able to offer support and have a collaborative approach. They will be confident using their initiative and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Role requirements:
- Enrolment into a level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma course
- Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week, between 7am – 6pm, Monday-Friday (this could increase to 35 hours once occupancy increases)
