Our spacious, purpose-built centre has perfect indoor/outdoor flow with established gardens including large trees that provide shade and shelter while still allowing natural light to flow inside.
About the Role:
If you have a passion for teaching young children and are currently enrolled to study in a level 7 ECE programme (ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma), we want to hear from you. This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week Monday-Friday.
You will be based in our Nursery, working alongside out under 2 year old tamariki. But will support in our Preschool space when needed.
Our nursery provides a warm and loving environment based on nurturing moments and engaging activities. We built special and trusting relationships with our tamariki and encourage our children as they grow to develop relationships with others, enabling infants and toddlers to develop a strong sense of belonging and therefore confidence.

Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. The successful candidate will have a passion and drive for planning and implementing the 16 areas of play throughout the day along with providing individual care routines. We are also looking for the following:
- Enrolment into a level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma course
- Have a sound knowledge and understanding of infant's and baby's needs.
- Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
- Show great initiative, can think on your feet, someone who communicates well and is a team player.
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
