About the Role
This is a permanent position, 30‑40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will be working in Wai-iti, our Toddler Room, with tamariki aged 18months - 2.5 years old. Here, we focus on fostering independence, emotional regulation, and confidence as children explore and grow. With a maximum of 16 tamariki, the room offers a supportive and nurturing environment tailored to this important developmental stage.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a teacher who is committed, reflective, and ready to make a genuine difference. You will bring:
- A Level 7 ECE or Primary qualification and current certification
- Strong understanding of child‑led curriculum, planning, and extending learning
- Solid knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to compliance
- A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your practice
- Passion, professionalism, and a drive for high‑quality teaching
