BestStart Willowpark Road is looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our friendly team.
This is a 6-month parental leave position starting 14 September, working in our Under 2s room alongside a supportive and experienced team. We are proud of our strong bicultural curriculum and are looking for a positive, open-minded teacher who enjoys building meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues.

About the Role
Whether you're a newly qualified, provisionally certificated, or experienced teacher, we'd love to hear from you.
This fixed-term role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility available for the right candidate. You'll join a team of experienced educators who are passionate about providing quality care and learning for our youngest learners.
Role Requirements
- BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
- Knowledge of Te Whāriki and child-led learning
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bicultural practice
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for quality early childhood education
