Qualified Teacher (BestStart Three Parks)
Ready for a fresh start in beautiful Wānaka? BestStart Three Parks is a brand-new, purpose-built centre opening in early 2027, and we’re looking for a passionate Qualified Teacher (Kaiako) to join our start up team.
Licensed for 92 tamariki, our centre will feature four thoughtfully designed classrooms, including two dedicated under 2 spaces, with modern facilities and brand-new resources.

As a Kaiako, you’ll help shape our centre culture, learning environments and philosophy from the very beginning. We have opportunities in both under 2s and over 2s and are looking for a collaborative, flexible teacher who is excited to build something special for our tamariki, whānau and community.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About you
We’re looking for passionate Kaiako who want to make a meaningful difference for tamariki and contribute to building an exceptional new centre. You’ll bring:
- BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification
- A strong understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending learning
- Knowledge of current ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through your teaching practice
- Passion for delivering quality teaching and learning
- A collaborative, flexible approach and enthusiasm for being part of a start-up team
