About the Role:
Whether you are a newly qualified teacher or an experienced educator, if you have a passion for teaching young children, we want to hear from you. This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, 8:30-3:00pm, Monday-Friday.
We are looking for the right person to join our team, someone who loves a good laugh, is passionate about tamariki and is a great team player. You will be based in our Kauri Room, working alongside our 3-5 year old tamariki. We know nurturing a passion for learning is critical at this age. We support children to go to school confident in their ability to learn and excited to give things a go! Our centre has a great indoor-outdoor flow with a large variety of resources in all spaces.
Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) current Teacher Certification
- Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
