Qualified Teacher (BestStart Everglade Preschool)
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our warm, supportive team at BestStart Everglade Preschool. We value strong relationships, responsive and child-led learning, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where tamariki can thrive. You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with children and whānau, support and extend learning through Te Whāriki, and contribute positively to our centre culture.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised ECE teaching qualification and current practising certificate.
- Is passionate about tamariki and their learning and development.
- Builds strong, trusting relationships with children, whānau and colleagues.
- Has a good understanding of Te Whāriki, ECE regulations and compliance.
- Uses a child-led, intentional approach to planning and extending learning.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Works collaboratively and brings energy, initiative and positivity to the team.
