About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our Preschool Room in a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Whether you’re newly qualified or bring years of experience, you’ll be welcomed into a team that values collaboration, creativity, and strong relationships. At BestStart Dey Street, we take pride in delivering high-quality education and meaningful learning experiences for every child.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor of Education/Diploma of Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and a current teaching certificatio
- Strong understanding of a child-led curriculum and the ability to extend learning through play
- Knowledge of Te Whāriki and ECE regulations
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive teaching practices
- Passion for working with preschool-aged children and delivering high-quality education
