BestStart Brooklyn is a true home away from home for our tamariki and whānau. We’re a small, vibrant centre just across from the Claudelands Event Centre and only minutes from Hamilton City. Our passionate, long-standing team thrives in a mixed-age environment, supporting children from infancy right through to school age. We’re proud to offer a warm, family-like atmosphere where every child’s individuality is celebrated and families feel as though they’re leaving their little ones with an aunty.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a happy, calm, and caring qualified teacher to join our established team in a fixed-term role (35–40 hours per week) through to November 2026.
This role is ideal for a “SuperStar” teacher who:

What We’re Looking For
- BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary)
- Current Teacher Registration
- Strong understanding of child-led curriculum and Te Whāriki
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ECE Regulations
- A genuine passion for high-quality teaching and learning
