About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) in our Mata-Au room, supporting tamariki aged over two. This learning space focuses on nurturing children’s emotional and social development in a calm, compassionate setting.
Our team regularly engages in professional development to stay informed about the latest educational theories and practices. The large outdoor area supports endless opportunities for exploration, play, and creativity.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome both newly qualified teachers and experienced educators who are:
- Holders of a B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and a current Teacher Certification
- Confident in planning and delivering a child-led curriculum
- Knowledgeable about current ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and compliance
- Committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive teaching
- Passionate about quality teaching and learning
