BestStart Waikanae is seeking a passionate, qualified, and certificated teacher to join our close-knit and energetic team. This is a permanent, part-time position (20 hours per week, Monday to Friday), with flexibility to suit the right candidate.

What we’re looking for:

  • BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification 
  • Strong understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending children’s learning 
  • Sound knowledge of current ECE regulations and Te Whāriki 
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive teaching practices 
  • Passion for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality outcomes
