BestStart Dinsdale is seeking a passionate, experienced, and qualified teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave through to December 2025. About Us
Our centre is known for its warm, inclusive environment and strong team culture. We’re proud to offer one of Hamilton’s largest outdoor play areas, recently renovated and thoughtfully designed to support movement, creativity, and exploration. Each age group has its own dedicated space, with specialised rooms for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This allows us to create calm, focused environments where tamariki thrive and kaiako can teach with purpose.
A unique feature of our centre is “Bubbles” the turtle, a much-loved pet who plays a special role in sparking curiosity and teaching empathy among our tamariki. We foster strong relationships with our whānau and community. Our values of respect, kindness, fun, and trust are woven into everything we do — from our teaching practices to our interactions with one another.

What We’re Looking For
- A qualified and registered early childhood teacher with a current practising certificate
- Confidence and experience in planning and writing learning stories
