We’re looking for a passionate Teacher in Training to join our caring, close-knit team. This is a permanent, part-time role (20 hrs/week, Mon–Fri), working across our Nursery and Toddler rooms.

Our centre is a stable, loving, and safe place in the community where every child, whānau, and culture is welcomed and celebrated. Conveniently located on a main road with easy bus access, we’re proud of our diverse team of experienced Kaiako creating meaningful learning experiences for every tamaiti.

About the Role

If you’re enrolled in a Level 7 Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) and excited to support young children’s learning journeys, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment. Our centre features four age-specific classrooms and spacious outdoor areas for exploration and discovery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor course 
  • Understanding of child-led curriculum and learning extension 
  • Knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and compliance expectations 
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bicultural practice 
  • Genuine passion for teaching and making a difference
