About the Role
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rotating roster. You’ll be working alongside our over 2-year-old tamariki, providing engaging, responsive and intentional learning experiences that support each child to thrive.
You’ll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration, reflective practice, professional growth and, most importantly, creating a place where tamariki feel safe, valued and excited to learn.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a teacher who:
- Holds a recognised Level 7 ECE teaching qualification
- Holds current New Zealand Teacher Certification
- Has a strong understanding of Te Whāriki and child-led curriculum
- Builds genuine relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues
- Is passionate about extending children’s learning and development
- Has a good understanding of ECE regulations and values high-quality practice
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through their teaching
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Brings enthusiasm, care and a genuine passion for teaching
