About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional, well-organised, and approachable Centre Administrator to join our friendly and experienced team. This role plays a key part in the success of our centre—supporting our teachers, tamariki, and whānau while ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Located in a peaceful rural community just outside Pukekohe, BestStart Puni Road is a centre deeply connected to its whānau and local environment.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for our whānau, providing excellent customer service, managing bookings, data entry, and parent inquiries. You’ll handle daily administrative duties such as maintaining accurate parent accounts, processing payments and direct debits, and meeting key deadlines. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Word and Excel will be essential to your success.

You’ll also have the full support of our National Admin Support Team, who provide training, guidance, and ongoing assistance through our dedicated helpdesk. We’ll make sure you have everything you need to thrive, with clear processes, comprehensive induction, and continued professional support.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 2:00pm).
