ECE Caregiver (BestStart Orewa)

With growing enrolments at BestStart Orewa West, we’re looking for a warm and dynamic, experienced caregiver to join our close-knit team. If you're a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and loves supporting our youngest tamariki, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Our purpose-built centre features beautiful, spacious outdoor areas that encourage exploration, creativity, and connection. As a fairly new and growing centre, there’s lots of opportunity for personal career development and for you to make your mark in an expanding team.You’ll work with children under three years old, alongside a passionate and experienced team and reporting to a supportive Centre Manager. In this role, you'll provide high-quality care, engage meaningfully with tamariki, and help create a calm, nurturing learning environment.

This is a Fixed Term position working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday until 26/2/27.
About the Role:
- Provide exceptional care and education for toddlers
- Build responsive, loving relationships with tamariki and whānau
- Support day-to-day routines and classroom activities
- Step in where needed to help the centre run smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children under three is essential
- Calm, nurturing, and responsive teaching style
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
- Positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to take direction
- ECE qualification is not required, but a genuine love for working with children under three is a must!
