ECE Caregiver (BestStart Kenderdine)

Permanent, Part-Time (30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day)
About the Role:
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working alongside a team of passionate kaiako, you’ll play a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our tamariki. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional care and education for children under five
- Supporting the team by participating in centre activities and staff cover
- Engaging in meaningful interactions that extend children's learning
- Completing documentation and writing Learning Stories confidently
- Supporting centre operations and collaborating closely with the team
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children under five (ECE qualification not required)
- A strong understanding of ECE practices and confidence in completing documentation
- Previous experience in an ECE centre is preferred
- A team player who is reliable, proactive, and takes initiative
- Culturally responsive with the ability to build respectful relationships with diverse children and families
