ECE Caregiver (BestStart Kauri Flats)
Looking to take the next step in your early childhood journey? We are on the lookout for a caring, energetic caregiver to join our close-knit team. This is a permanent part-time role (30 hours a week) supporting children aged 2-3 years old.
Located in the heart of Takanini, our centre is a purpose-built centre close to local schools and the Takanini Town Centre. We’re all about connection, creativity, and curiosity. Our vision, "Inspiring Through Play," is backed by strong values: Whanaungatanga, Wānanga, Ako, Manaakitanga, and Whakamana. 30 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Takanini
The Role:
As a caregiver, you’ll:
- Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for our tamariki
- Support learning through play and be hands-on across all age groups
- Work closely with our teaching team and cover breaks where needed
- Be a positive presence in the day-to-day rhythm of the centre
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with children under five (especially infants and toddlers)
- A genuine love for working with tamariki
- Someone who’s proactive, a team player, and takes direction well
- No ECE qualification required
