About the Role:
We’re looking for a caregiver with a genuine passion for working with young children, especially infants and toddlers. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that creates a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where tamariki can explore, grow, and learn.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide amazing care and education to our tamariki
- Be a caring advisor to parents and families/whānau regarding our policies, practices, and curriculum
- Supporting learning through play, curiosity, and creativity
- Engaging with all age groups across the centre
- Assisting with daily routines, staff breaks, and centre operations
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture
This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
What We’re Looking For:
While an ECE qualification is not required, previous experience working with children under five is essential. You’ll bring natural warmth, initiative, and a collaborative spirit, along with a strong desire to support children in their early development.
