About the Role:

As a Caregiver, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the daily experiences of our tamariki by creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where they can flourish. We’re passionate about fostering a love for learning, creativity, and exploration, and we know that caregivers are central to this journey. That’s why we provide ongoing support, professional development, and a positive, inclusive workplace where every team member can thrive.
Reporting to our Centre Manager and working alongside a close-knit, supportive teaching team, this is your opportunity to be part of a centre that celebrates diversity, encourages curiosity, and supports every child’s unique journey.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
As a valued Caregiver, you will:
- Provide warm, responsive care that sparks joy in learning
- Create engaging experiences that encourage exploration and growth
- Support daily centre operations and assist during staff breaks
- Be a positive, active contributor to our centre whānau
About You:
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in ECE (qualification not required)
- Calm, empathetic, and able to maintain a sense of humour under pressure
- Passionate about supporting tamariki through meaningful care and play
- A collaborative team player with a kind, friendly nature
