About the Role
As a Caregiver at BestStart, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will be part of a dedicated team that fosters a love for learning, creativity, and exploration.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will work closely with a team of passionate educators committed to delivering high-quality care and education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional care and learning experiences for children
- Supporting and engaging in activities that promote child development
- Collaborating with the team and contributing to a positive centre environment
- Assisting across different classrooms and supporting centre operations as needed
This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working with young children and committed to making a difference in their lives. While an ECE qualification is not required, experience working with children under five—particularly infants and toddlers—is essential. You should have a natural affinity with children, a proactive attitude, and the ability to take direction while working collaboratively within a team.
