We’re excited to announce the opening of BestStart West Village in Faringdon, scheduled for March 2025! To kickstart our journey, we’re calling for expressions of interest to join our vibrant start-up team.
Our beautiful, purpose-built centre will feature four thoughtfully designed classrooms tailored to meet the learning and developmental needs of children across all age groups. Equipped with high-quality resources, our spaces will spark curiosity and foster growth.

We are hiring for the following roles:
Centre Manager
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of BestStart West Village from the ground up. As a Centre Manager, you’ll lead the setup of the learning environment, foster a strong team culture, and promote the centre within the local community.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified ECE teacher with leadership experience
- Strong curriculum and financial management skills
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
- A can-do attitude and a passion for maintaining high standards in teaching and care
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Qualified Teachers (Kaiako)
We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Kaiako to inspire and nurture tamariki under 5. Join us to work in a modern, sun-filled environment with brand-new resources. As part of the start-up team, you’ll help shape the centre’s philosophy and align it with community values.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor of Education/Diploma of Teaching Level 7 (ECE) with current Teacher Certification
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations and a deep understanding of child-led curriculum and Te Whāriki
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your teaching practices
- Passion for delivering quality learning experiences
These are full-time positions, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
